Deck-Rite Group completes works in Damen Shipyard

Deck-Rite Group has again successfully completed Flooring works on ( Technip FMC’s ) Deep Arctic Dive vessel during its current dry dock period within Damen’s Shipyard, Amsterdam. The works, which mostly included repairs to an A60 subfloor, preplacement of Mess Room IMO approved Amtico, walkways and new freezer room flooring, were completed by Deck-Rite marine flooring specialists who ensured that all tasks were completed on time, on budget and to the quality demanded by our much-valued client.

Deck-Rite Group Managing Director James Lloyd paid tribute to the team involved.

“This particular project involved joint co-ordination between Deck-Rite, Technip project team and the ship’s staff. All works where  carried out while the ship was at 80% capacity, during the night shift. This allowed us to mitigate disruption to the crews mess room in particular during its busiest periods” he said “Once again our team demonstrated our ability to deliver seamlessly in these challenging situations completing work-scopes to the highest standards while accommodating the day to day running of the vessel”.

“We would also like to thank Technip’s project Team for their valued support in our delivery”
